Customer was after an industrial style of kitchen but not wanting to pay through the odds with a real concrete finish. With this we introduced them to a textured effect laminate that gave the feel and look of concrete they desired, while balancing it with a gloss to help add another texture and bounce light more around the room.
Customer was after 2 single ovens as they very rarely used a microwave and would rather more cooking space. We then balanced out the hob making sure it wasn’t too close to the steel down the wall as we were unable to duct in the ceiling making a hob on the island impossible. To help make it more sociable we placed the sink on the island with a breakfast bar.
To help with larder storage we boxed in the existing american fridge freezer also pulling it away from the wall allowing for better access and availability.
